Lg rumor2 phone freezing up?

with me, when anything freezes i leave it alone for the battery to die and then i charge it and it works fine after that. if it does it to you often then you might wanna get a new one because i'm not sure if it's fixable. it depends on whats wrong with it though so i could be wrong.
