what i would do is take it slow and watch for some hints and then if it is still too confusing the ask a Friend to ask him if he likes you but not in a werid way or do what my friend did she asked a teacher for a little favor and the teacher was told to do a dance in gym cl (it was a dancing unit) and boys with girls and they had to dance close the boys picked partners and her crush picked her then at the end of the cl they were going out (you might not be able to do that but the story was happy) I'm in grade seven too :)
