Genius chinchillal! What to do with new found talent?
Hi there! I recently acquired a pet chinchilla from my aunt who sadly ped away not long ago. I was quite concerned because at first he spent most of his time housed away in his little plastic hut and wouldn't come out, until... one evening I lifted the lid off his hut to find him reading a selection of headlines from his shredded newspaper bedding (he has a particular liking for celebrity gossip so I usually purchase the latest copy of Heat magazine to shred for him). I subsequently discovered that he can actually 'understand' the words he reads, and tries to communicate them to me using a variety of differing instinctive actions such as face pawing, foot stomping and blinking (one foot stomp = A, two foot stomps = B, three = C, whereas a blink/face paw combo = statement to be interpreted in satirical manner)! Yesterday, I managed to interpret the following - 'Gaga's fame is surely set to steadily increase judging from her bizzare, if not tastefully egregious, Grammy entrance!'.... I know, amazing right?! Only, what should I do with this new found talent? Should I contact the Guinness Book of World Records?
