1999 Acura Integra LS Problems HELP!!!!! Repairs?

I checked my DTS and I have codes P0700 Trans Control Sys Malfunction - P0740 TCC Circuit Malfunction as i was driving on the freeway my car slowly died down as i pulled over on the median the car was completely dead so i tryed to restart the car and it wont start now... Im hearing a little sounds like grinding noise.... Has any body had this problem and if so how did you fix the problem..... what is a Torque Converter Clutch & a Trans Control System and how doi fix it Thank You..... Detailed answer would be greatly .appreciated..
