What to do about my dogs leaking ?

My dogs leaking is driving me crazy...I love my dog and i dont mind him on my carpets and furniture but im getting sick of waking up and finding tiny pee stains on my beige suede sofa every morning. He has his own bed but he always sneaks onto the sofa after we go to bed (i sometimes wish he wouldnt). Should i buy him some dog underwear? is that mean to put onto a male dog? i know they make them for female dogs who mentruate. i really dont want to cover my whole couch with blankets because its a big sectional AND i want to be able to use my blankets to cover me without the pee stains. does anyone have any solutions? or does everyone who has a dog live with having tiny pee stains everywhere. why does their leak so much????
